What a disappointment. You expect "low budget" for the price, but really? Room 9 issues:
Have to manually do the water for the toilet as it runs the whole time if the tap is not closed.
Coffee sachets, sugar, but no spoon. One dirty glass (for room sleeping 2)
Two useless coffee mugs.
Shower is spilling water everywhere.
Very old furniture, ugly walls painted with cheap paint, lots of spiders. Ceiling is dirty. Asked for 2 bath towels, received 2 white towels, if you can call it that. I wash my car with towels like that. Braai area looks like a dirty picnic spot. Parking is an issue. You have to wake the whole lodge to move their cars when you want to leave.
I read reviews from 3-4 months ago... "we will improve".. yeah right! The reception was terrible, not friendly at all, somewhat helpful. Please close down this establishment, it is NOT WORTH A CENT in accommodation. The advertisement pictures are deceiving! The website shows all the "glamor" which is SURELY not the case. I will NOT recommend this establishment, even for R495 for 1 night.

There was a misunderstanding when booking and we paid twice for the room. Even after frequent consultation, we did not get the overpaid back.
The rooms are disgusting as well.

The place is neat, but it need a lot of face-lift. In the room which I 'very stayed, there were no air-conditioner and to me, I was informed that they do have an air-conditioning. I was very hot, there were a lot of spiders.

Felt unsafe.

Didnt sleep one bit.

Sheets were dirty.

Bathroom is dangerous (if you slip youll hurt yourself badly) too small door doesnt open properly and handle was broken almost came off i could smell mould and see water damage the basin looked like it was going to fall over at any minute. Get some floormats or rubber mats for shower slipped a couple of times and the bath edges were sharp no rounding off was done.

Not wheelchair friendly at all

There was a funny smell in the room that was unpleasant.

Place needs alot of work !!!

This was the worst stay ever, no cutlery and when we asked we get one glass and two coffee mugs and was told that the 5 of us must share, rooms were soaking wet due to rain, toilet not working, plugs not working, when we asked for the owner details they refused to give it to us, if you want to waist your money book this place. I will not even stay here if they pay me to do so. What a disgusting place and to think they let you pay to stay there, can the owners contact me.

The place was very dirty and seemed to have less attention from its owners, the painting was very old, furniture was also old, pool was dirty, the braai area was also dirty, I had to ask one of the guys working there to come wipe the chairs, I was there on the 11th September 2021 with my fiancé, we had a very bad experience.
