One of my favourite Lowveld wedding venues. I am a wedding photographer and have photographed a few weddings at Whispering Thorns. Marinda and her daughter Carmen make a great team. I always feel looked after and appreciated when working here.
They create a great atmosphere for the couples getting married and their guests. And have a great eye for wedding decor trends. I highly recommend hosting your wedding here.

Beautiful venue with breathtaking view. The food was exquisite and plentiful. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful

Amazing venue where attention to detail is flawless. Staff are very attentive without ever being intrusive. At no stage will you ever feel as if you are at a wedding venue, but you rather feel as if you are at a friends home with your moms cooking and your friends unhindered connections, surrounded by nature on your doorstep.

This venue is absolutely the most beautiful venue there can be. I had my wedding here. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The assistance you get from this venue is excellent. They truly make your wedding day a special day with no stress involved. If you want a stress free wedding then this is the place to get married at. The food is the most delicious food I have ever had at any event. Marinda and Carmen does so much effort and they are passionate about their job. Very nice people to work with.They are very creative and talented in the wedding decor and flowers that they do. I enjoyed my wedding at this venue and would recommend it to anyone. Most beautiful venue with the best service provided.

Scenic view and well laid out garden but unfortunately no fan or air-conditioning in both chapel and reception area and it was 38.5 degrees Celsius in the shade! We were baking!

An excellent venue with great service. All the staff was extremely friendly and helpful during our set-up and stay. The food was amazing. Thank you! As a fellow wedding industry supplier it was very nice to work at such a well organized place that works together to keep the bride u0026 groom happy.
