I’ve been wanting to visit this branch for a while and I’m glad I finally did. I have heard that it gets pretty busy, but the equipment was in great condition. The staff are friendly and there is ample social distancing in place. As with most Virgin Actives, it’s a great gym to train at.

Great facility, all staff members (at reception, cleaners, gym management) are very helpful, friendly and efficient. The highlight for me is the kids v club section, the change rooms for parents with kids ????????. All Virgin Active gyms with v club must have these parents with kids change room.

Decent gym, terrible experience. My girlfriend and I wanted to check out the gym and get drinks at the juice place inside and not only were we refused entry but the staff actively ignored us and refused to help us complete our order. The staff at NU even said they didn’t know we were there waiting to pay and pick up after we had asked the receptionist at the front desk. Understandable that these are two separate businesses, but the attitude and mistreatment from the Virgin Active staff was just appalling.

Well located gym in the Kyalami Shopping Center, has all the basic facilities and weights to ensure a great workout, friendly staff and helpful personal trainers,

The club has a swimming pool and a small outdoor training area, yoga studio, spinning studio and one fitness studio and one of the better gyms available in the Midrand area with ample parking space.

The facilities team is failing dismally at ensuring that the club is functioning at its best. If it's not the leaks all over the club it's the forever broken aircons. Technicians are on site and literally minutes later the aircons are dead again. Really the management at this club doesn't take its members seriously. For the money paid to the club they should be ashamed that they're only pocketing our money whilst we don't get any value out of it. We'll one day all suffocate in there and die whilst training. It's torturous to train at this club, as if the few machines with not much variety wasn't frustrating enough. I'd advise against joining this club, I'll come back to this review and update the world if things change or if I haven't moved my membership. Horrible environment!!!!!! The facilities team is killing us.

The staff are always friendly. The equipment is clean and in great working order.

Always adhere's to covid protocols. Sanitizer available throughout the gym for hands as well as wiping down equipment. Helpful staff ????
