Sat at the smoking area inside. Very noisy. Tables not clean. Communication between the waiter and kitchen not the best. Food was good though ????????and the cocktails (or whaletales as they call it) were excellent! ???????? Got some free Jagermeisters shots for the mix-up

Was lovely going there. The view from Big Blue is beautiful. Staff very friendly and the food was very nice. Recommend people to go there.

Amazing setting. Good quality food, although not a big selection on offer. Best opservation point for the zipline

Big Blue is arguably the restaurant with the best views in the Mosselbay Waterfront (Point) area. From the deck area you have views of the iconic tidal pools (Die Poort Tidal Pool), the Mosselbay Zipline, the Cape St Blaize lighthouse and of course the magnificent Indian Ocean. The restaurant is very relaxed with indoor and outdoor seating areas, and is decorated in a laid-back beach style - they even have swings at the bar for you to relaxed on. It is important to note, that even if you sit inside, you will still have a great view as they have big windows facing the ocean. We visited for lunch and it was very nice, but the highlight for me was the cocktails which added to the "beach vibe". The staff was also friendly and they followed the Covid regulations that were in place at the time.

DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMENDED!
i felt very unwelcome, the manager was rude and took my drink and threw it out after i paid because i gave my sister in law a sip.

The food was good, nice cocktails views were great... unfortunately the staff seem to have a "IDGAF" approach when serving you.

Loved the food.Had the pulled pork burger. and chips.Actully two burgers on small buns delish.A bottle of red wine.Our waitress Lauren made us feel very welcome.Sitting next to the fire taking in the view .Lovely.
