Give credit where credit is due and the Oyster Bar team deserve it today.
A quick stopover in Mossel Bay (harbour) for lunch and to stretch our legs certainly did not disappoint. The freshest of fish / calamari on offer, decent portions and top notch service all round equals highly recommended.
So that said, well done to the management and team here, keep it up guys, an island of good, within a general sea of mediocrity in the food industry, well done!

Very slow service for the an empty bar/restaurant and the Oysters weren't fresh but previously frozen prior to serving which made them taste very chewy and not good at all! We had to ask the manager to change the music too as it was way to loud for a Tuesday night and it was terrible 90's electronic.

Would absolutely not go back even if I was paid... I would've tolerated everything if the Oysters were at least good but they were so bad I had to force them down...

Best oysters I’ve ever had, HUGE! Medium oysters bigger than an iPhone! Great views watching dolphins play in the bay.

Lovely crispy fish and chips - so big we couldn’t finish it! Darling Brew on tap. Scenic view and peaceful setting. Friendly service!

The restaurant has one of the best sea views,however my food experience was not a good one..
We ordered oysters for starters and prawns with fries for mains. We waited 20 mins to get the oysters, when she finally got to our table,she brought the mains BEFORE the starters so we asked her if she forgot about our oysters order and she said:’ ooh I ddnt know you wanted them before your main dish’????????????u200d♀️???????????? anyway we ate the main first,the fries were cold
and tasted like frozen fries not freshly fried, which was a huge disappointment. When we finally ate our oysters,they were atleast good and fresh and their prawns.
