The best guesthouse ever! Extremely neat, well equipped, most beautiful gardens, peaceful surroundings... The host thought of everything and more. She is friendly and helpful. We will be back again and we want to recommend Die Fonteine to anybody who wants to be spoiled!

We spent one night out of the two becos the country was going on lockdown due to Covid. What a caring and understanding lady the owner was.....she was so concerned becos we also got stuck halfway there. Hubby and I are surely making our way there sometime soon.
The place was nice n clean ,. quiet n the view from our room was fantastic. Thank you so much for everything.

Just WOW, after years of international travel I never heard as much pre-justice and bias towards me as during 5 min small talk with the host of this Bu0026B. I'm a dual citizen who moved to the country of my choice for work almost a decade ago, was travelling with the boyfriend who's also the citizen of said country.
After hearing my accent the host immediately asked where we're from and made her assumptions. With passive aggressive sarcastic tone asked me "how long you live there" while rolling her head on my boyfriend like my immigration has something to do with him, "you live there because it's dangerous in your country" - What?!. Without even asking what I do or how I immigrated there I was labeled as a gold digger, completely destroying my academic and professional accomplishment by just hearing my nationality.

Room was advertised as having a private entrance which it kinda has but you have to pass right under other rooms windows. The rooms are on the first floor facing the garden where the workers and guest may pass by, make sure to dress before opening the blinds.

Our stay in Oudtshoorn was wonderful. The accommodation is clean and cozy, has a lovely pool and is located in an idyllic area. There are a lot of activities to do in the area, but we only wanted to chill and relax and that was perfect here. The host is friendly and gives good tips. I would recommend it 100%

lovely details like flowers, apples and sherry in the rooms, picturesque garden and pretty pool and very good recommendations for where to eat and what to do locally. the only thing was the booking company had said it included breakfast,which it did not but a continental breakfast can be ordered as extra.

Our room was extremely neat, with everything that you could possibly need including towels for swimming. The breakfast was out of this world. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much for great hospitality at a very affordable price.

A small nice location right outside of Oudthoorn (15 km ) along the R 328. This owner runned guest house is worth the price. Anzue, our host is very kind and considerated. We stayed for 3 nights in October 2021. We focussed on driving the mountain passes and a day trip towards the ocean along the N2.
