This place looks nothing like it does in the photos. This place is rundown and dirty. There is nothing luxury about this place at all. The bath and toilets are disgusting. There's generators running all day and night. There's poor lighting on top of load shedding. There is nails sticking out the wooden floor and rust and mould on the walls and ceiling.
The owner of this place was rude and drunk on arrival of us getting here. The road up to the campsite is a single track road up a steep Mountain side. It has not been made well and is not well lit up at night. There really isn't anything good to say about this place. Please don't waist your time or money here. Again it's nothing like what any of the pictures look like online. It's all a con. This place hasn't been looked after and everything here was probably more than 20 years old. This place needs new ownership and renovations done to it before it's worth a thought.

We had a wonderful stay. Pascal was very welcoming and helped with any request we had. The property is huge and beautiful.

stunning views, you drive up and see buck everywhere, rooms/tents were super clean, there was a nice pool, staff friendly, really nice hot water, private toilets, owner went out of his way to make it more pleasant for us, really enjoyed ourselves and want to come back!

This place is highly recommendable! Beautiful surroundings, great stay and lovely pool overlooking the valleys. Pascal makes absolutely delicious food!

Loved the location, the views were amazing! Loved the walking path around the property. Our tent (tent no 3) had the best views, loved the seclusion. The pool was fab too.
The dinner at the restaurant was fantastic too and very good value for money. So was breakfast. Would definitely recommend staying at le petit Karoo. Wished we’d stayed two nights, just to enjoy the views more.
Good time of year to go as not too hot and not too cold.
Slow WiFi- but if it’s for a night or two it’s not needed.
