Great spot for some upscale food and when you want to eat fancy! Try and make a reservation for the back area. If you happen to be stuck in the front of the building and it’s not busy, the staff take a while to check up on things. The food quality is good but if you want a medium-rare steak, order it medium. The ostrich carpaccio was delicious!

The most phenomenal experience. Great, great food! Reasonably priced. Informed and engaging waitresses. The front looks nothing like what's actually inside and the back garden is beautiful.

Absolutely loved this place.
The best chicken liver starter I have ever had before! A complete new and fresh taste.
The crisy squid with a ginger caramel, oh boy such a great dish.

Fire place roaring so cosy.

Service friendly and our drinks; Cola tonic and strawberry milkshake; came quickly after we were seated.
Had the Hake and chips and a burger with salad.
Batter of hake was delicious with a litte bite in the taste. Nice crispy chips. Tartare sauce more a watery mayonaise with chopped gherkins, actually store bought Sandwich spread would've tasted better.
Burger party was juicy and tender with bread buns nicely toasted. Tasty Greek salad.
Enjoyed the covered patio overlooking the garden with the cat roaming on one side and the lounge with the fireplace on the other.

Gracious hospitality from the owners as well as all staff members. We enjoyed a lovely overnight stay in the beautiful guest house that breathes character, luxury and the warmest of welcome. No need to dress up as we could simply relax and enjoy our dinner, served in front of the huge fireplace. Thank you for this amazing house we could call home for a night Pierre and Deb!

We were pleasantly surprised with this quaint little restaurant which was one of the few places that we’re still open on a Sunday afternoon in Oudtshoorn. The menu had lovely options catering to different dietary preferences and the staff were all very welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed the apple tarts tartin that was served with an amazing cinnamon ice cream.

Food was good, the waitress really friendly and location interestingly designed. It just felt quite a bit overpriced for what we got.
