Love this place! Stayed here for one night while passing through from Johannesburg to Durban in Dec 2016. Here's a breakdown of the place:
Room: firstly it is much bigger than I thought it would be and very clean. My husband and 1 year were with me and we all fit comfortably with all our bags and a crib that we brought (note: the Bu0026B has one if you request it). The layout is very well placed with the kitchen area across from the bed, and the shower and toilet on a level that is 4 steps above. There's ample room for putting away clothes and they provide some hangers. The kitchen is stocked with teas and coffee and milk. It is self catering with all the crockery and cutlery and basic appliances. They've even added salt and pepper! It is decorated like a cozy French country style and has a wonderful view into a very well kept garden. Tranquil and fresh. The room entry way has a wall in front of it to provide privacy when seated outside. WiFi and TV are available. There aren't many channels to choose from but that didn't bother us as we didn't spend our time watching TV.
Main house: this is where the meals are served. Very South African homey feel. The host, made us feel comfortable and welcome, and was quick to respond to our calls. She was helpful and good to talk to. Lots of tourist information is available there to help you decide what to do.
It's adorable. Well worth the trip! When we return to South Africa, we'll definitely be stopping by here again!
