More than likely one of the best campsites I have been to in a long time. Clean. Neat well layed out. Very well looked after. Very clean bathrooms. Lovely pools. Both the heated and the outdoor pool. Lots of things to keep kids busy with. Nice bar and take away area.

The place is great and it's very nice and retreating. Until you have to deal with people like Shelly, member if the stuff who cannot clean and made it almost impossible to get our breakage deposit back. We had to clean something ourselves. Otherwise the manage is super great. Has outstanding customer service and very friendly. We most definitely coming back soon ????????????

Great place TAU chalet was breathtaking! Place was clean, neat. had everything we needed I was so impressed. I will definitely go back. Everything was amazing. Wall climbing, pools, bar. This place was amazing.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dinokeng Resort. The kids (and adults) loved the indoor and outdoor heated pools. The supertube slides were also a great hit.

The grounds are very well maintained and the ablutions are kept spotlessly clean.

There is a small shop on site that stocks some essentials and a slightly larger shop is only a few minutes drive away.

There are some resident Nyala which are quite habituated and will happily steal food from your table if you don't keep an eye on them.

Our camping stand was large and well situated, with easy to access water and power. We camped on a private ablution stand (C1) over a non-peak midweek period.

This was one of the best camping experiences I've had. Very friendly staff, clean facilities, well looked after pools and entertainment area. Wenzel (the manager) was a great help in all departments. The large boma by the entertainment area was nice and cozy.

Good Tau and Tlou self catering units. Cleanliness could be improved as my 3 year old found a unidentified pill in the room on the floor and a pair of tweezers. Bathrooms were quite clean though. Another frustration was the shop and bar times, both of which closed way too early. Check in time was at 15:00 stricktly and shop closing time at 16:00. By the time I wanted to buy wood for a braai, I ended up having to drive 10km out of the resort to get wood. The self drive game routes of the reserve are horribly confusing, nothing is very self explanitory and was unnecessarily expensive for almost no sightings. We saw nothing of the big 5 in the 4 days we drove on the self drive routes. Dont expect to see very much when self driving but you may enjoy the beauty of the bushfield. Other than that staff were very friendly

On Easter weekend we made use of the camping site.
The entertainment areas are in good condition. The red and white water slide needs some work, the joints on the slide needs to be fixed.
The camping stand itself was good. They did however failed to empty all the dusbins and braai areas every day, we had to ask to clean them.
Unfortunately there were alot, at least 15 times in 4 days, of power outages and some of them was for 30 min to 2 hours. Dinokeng needs to invest in backup generator. There were also power outages short after each other, that can be harmfull to electronic equipment.
Water supply is also an issue when the power goes off. People had to use there own water to flush the toilet.
Other than the problems above, we had a nice stay at Dinokeng.
