Private bathrooms very clean and tidy, stands are good, staff is friendly, hiking routes are good only problem it's not marked out properly but one can see the foot paths even with lots of leaves laying on the ground. Best place to go and relax and get away from the cities hussle and buzz. Will definitely be going back in summer time .

This is one of the best camping spots in Gauteng and located so close to Jhb/Pretoria. The ablutions makes the venue. It is clean, tidy, neat, secure and has all the various options that are available in a really well managed facility. It has a great pool, various short hiking routes, a playground for the kids and a dam to go fishing at.

The camping spots are really amazing although this one spot we stayed at was at an angle. That made setting the tents up really difficult. Some staff also seemed a bit grumpy and it was difficult to communicate with some of them, but that really was a small issue and more a language problem. The hiking routes could do with better marking though as we missed one or two turnoffs on the route. They are relatively short, but if you link them together you can do a 3km - 4km walk.

On Saturdays the site offers great pizzas which is so easy while camping. Overall this is a stunning, peaceful and really well managed camping place.

Spent a week at Ruah Park. I can honestly say, this was the best camping site I have been to. It was nice and quiet, and the nature is very beautiful. The private bathroom is the greatest. It does increase the price compared to other campsites with a shared ablution, but is definitely worth it. The manager is very friendly, as well as the other workers. Definitely a must if you want to go camping. There is also very nice hiking trails, but make sure you pack your hiking shoes
