Generally a good shopping experience though the fruit and veg is oddly more expensive than in JHB and sometimes a tad less healthy looking. However! The fish, the meat, the dry goods and more are plentiful and there is a ton to choose from! Win some lose some!

I’ve found some really good Wednesday specials at the Menlyn branch of FLM, however this week the butchery was short staffed and the butcher offered to have my order ready the next day which I accepted. I only received the sms late the next day so sent my wife to collect my order the day after.
What a disappointment to find the meat packs oozing blood and not cut the way I asked.
I went back with the worst cuts expecting an argument but was pleasantly surprised when the butcher apologised and replaced them with better cuts than I had paid for and a bit extra to make up for the inconvenience.

I love going to Food Lovers Market.
Many specials on all needs. I always finds a winner on the no label wines.
The sourdough bread is a winner and a good bread option.
Service is very good.
Tills run smoothly and not a long wait. Friendly cashiers who greets you.

Usless service. Standing 20mins to pay for 5 things which can be bought at any other shop...

Food and quality is great.

Express tills take 3 times longer than the normal que.

Bought some items today at this branch. The till points are stacked on top of each other. When I wanted to pack my items to ring them, the cashier said this side sir... Well a lady was chatting away to the cashier next door... I suggest that your check out points are stacked on top of each other and 2 customers cannot share the same space at 1till... Ridiculous. I always supported Woodlands, but sadly they closed. Lynnwood Lane Food Lovers Market is much better and will rather support them for great service and better cashier service and spacing.

Fruits and vegetables are the best in all of Hatfield from this Food Lovers Market. The variety is extraordinary and fresh supply is always ample. Meat cuts are great and affordable. The store is huge, making space for all your possible grocery needs.

So I drive 9kms to a flagship store to get sushi bowls- they dont have salmon sushi bowls...and the person making these bowls is off for the day..
No one could help..i just wanted 8 bowls?
Too much too ask?????
