I stayed at Lerato Bush Lodge for entire year of 2020 and if I had to describe my experience in one word, it would be exceptional. Relocating from KZN to Gauteng was worrisome - my main concern was finding a place that was safe and secure, but with Lerato Bush Lodge, I got so much more. Mies and Martin were very warm and welcoming hosts and created a lovely atmosphere when I first arrived. I was completely taken away by the beautiful scenery and pleasantly surprised to be welcomed by 3 beautiful and friendly dogs as well - of which made great companions throughout the year.

The lodge was fully furnished and included everything you could possibly think of. The upgraded unlimited WiFi along with DSTV provided endless entertainment - which was very much needed during the COVID lockdown. The view from the balcony overlooking the city was mesmerizing, more so when you watched the sun set.

Martin and Mies constantly made sure everything was taken care of - and if you ever needed anything or if any maintenance was required, it was immediately and professionally done. The laundry services provided was spectacular and of excellent quality.

The compassion that Mies and Martin have is truly admirable. I would like to thank them for allowing my sister to stay with me during the lockdown and at short notice too due to the interprovincial travel ban being implemented. The lodge was also a great place for isolation during such turbulent times, and I could go to work with peace of mind knowing my sister was safe and sound - with the company of 3 playful dogs and Mies and Martin on standby if anything was needed.

Lerato Bush Lodge was truly an incredible stay and I would definitely visit again in the future if I'm ever back in Gauteng.

Mies and Martin are amazing people, I lived there for 3 months and it was absolutely wonderful, amenities are perfect, security very good, proximity and surroundings are to die for, the rooms are well kept and clean.

Wonderful view on Pretoria from the verandah of the wooden chalet. Great beds and interior, as well as a nice swimming pool.
