The service was really good. Reception did their best to attend our needs during our stay. The walls are though really thin and we didn't appreciate hearing the guests next door. Probably also the busiest hotel I've ever stayed at.. so much commotion from all the events held there.

I enjoyed the complimentary tea.
The complimentary biscuits paired with the complimentary chocolate very well.
The complimentary tea, milk, and coffee were well appreciated. The complimentary compliments were well received. All-in-all, it's a luxury establishment that houses an A/C, a gym, elevators and stairs. The elevators go up and down.

I went Manhattan hotel on the 7th of July which it was my graduation day at Unisa. I came back tired and the room was very appealing and nice . The bathroom was very clean and spotless. The bedding and the floor was very warming and it was what I needed cause I was very exhausted. I like the service from the ladies there at the reception keep it up .

Checked into Manhattan hotel. Was interested in trying the gym which is offer for free to guests. Only to find out on two occasions that my key card does not open the door. Went to reception to activate my card on both occasions went back to the gym still no access called reception again they said a maintenance guy is coming to assist. Waited for at least 20 mins infront of the gym no one came to assist us because at this time we were 5 people waiting. Second thing i did not like there is no fridge in the room you need to phone house keeping to put a fridge in the room. However there is a space allocated for a fridge.

The service it was just horrendous, we had a booking for 6Aug when we got there we were told our booking was canceled, walk-ins have first prefence, I failed to understand why they confirmed the booking if that was the case. The receptionist was very rude, showed no remorse whatsoever.

Good family rooms, my Sonshines had their own privacy room with own TV whilst me and hubby had ours, marvelous facility for family clean, elegant, excellent hosting skills by the staff
