The good: I think they have the beginnings of a good idea, young dare I say edgy concept. The food presented on black slate is a nice touch although you can see the servers struggle with the weight of it. The menu selection is good with something for everyone and in my opinion the prices aren't that bad either. Portions are good too as we got a mountain of thin cut fries with the towering burger.
The bad: Although the food looked great on the menu and on the plate I was a bit disappointed with the taste. My burger patty was a bit bland with no seasoning at all. I also expected that with all the toppings it will be juicy and flavorful but it wasn't. I have to say I enjoyed my meal just expected a lot more taste and flavor.
The ugly: For those who do not know they took over a previous restaurant space and it does seem as if the only did some minor changes and some not very well. The first table we were taken to was filthy with tamato sauce all over the floor and pieces of food still lying there, I specifically checked if it was cleaned by the time we left but it was not. There were sections of the ceiling missing, you could see where they cut off sections of wall where there used to be a glass private dining area and we were sat next to a broken table and half potted palms.
In summary: Nice location and a good but incomplete decor idea, good menu but some real work is to be done on the taste of the food. Good luck!

Friendly service, although we moved to another table as the floor was dirty at our selected table area. It still feels very uninviting, but the staff was professional and friendly. The food was mediocre, and not much to rave about. Wide selection of food, and various self build options.

It's a pretty cool place.

I went for breakfast and had a delicious meal. The most important thing is that their coffee is delicious and arrives in massive cups. They have a selection of breakfasts to choose from as well as a "Build your own breakfast" section where you can choose whatever you want to eat. It has comfortable seating - both inside and outside and the prices are quite good. Would definitely visit again. I'm interested in what they have to offer at other times of the day.

Beautiful setting. Funky menu but did not have chance to try the food. Did try a new gin and liked the eco friendly glass straw! Beautiful vertical gardens. Friendly staff.

Amazing venue. Had an engagement party and it was a lot of fun. It's classy but not stiff and it's got a modern feel to it. The food is delicious and the service is spot on.

One of my favourite new restaurants.

The milkshakes (Shout out: Thank you, Hendrik) and the loaded fries are a-m-a-z-i-n-g, so is the atmosphere, interior, location, staff and service.

It's basically an all-rounder.

A definite must if you are in Pretoria and even worth driving to Pretoria for - I did and would.
