I was there yesterday ???? bread basket dirty and greasy. Tried to move on from that ordered food the was a cockroach in the rice. So disappointed explains why the place was empty on a Friday evening. Prawns not fresh. Owner please get a better manager or just move to a another industry.

Tomatoe soup is very nice. It is spicy and so little bit hot. Grilled salmon is delicious. Salad with souce should be tasted. Decoration and musics are suitable for fish restaurant. Service was excellent. If you want to eat something other than fast food in Hatfield, you should give a chance ocean basket.

An excellent franchise of the Ocean basket brand, with the most friendly, helpful and good humoured staff that I have come across. Food is typical of ocean basket, essentially a happy place for seafood lovers. It has a decent smoking section too. I am glad to say these qualities endured the Covid period and are still the hallmark of this friendly spot.

Service was excellent and it wasn't as full so the place felt very romantic.

Enjoyed the platter for two which is rather filling, cheesecake dessert perfect for a sweet tooth and a few drinks.

Clean restaurant, friendly staff, lovely relaxed vibe (we were there on a not-very-busy Saturday afternoon). The food was fresh and deliciously prepared and we didn't wait to be served. The restaurant is at the ground floor by a fairly busy street with both indoor and outdoor seating. The manager was very friendly and welcoming even warning us to remove our phones off the table (we were sitting outside).
