Must be honest, I was a little bit sceptic when I saw that the guest house was in Sunnyside, but soon as I arrived I was blown away. The location is far east from the busy Sunnyside CBD, much closer to Loftus Park, Brooklyn and Lynnwood.

The staff was welcoming, Tshepo the Manager was helpful, personally arranged a braai stand for us on our first night. He came to help operate the aircon as well as the TV, he's very hands-on. All electrical equipment, incl the DStv and Wi-Fi, was working, and the shower always had hot water running.

What I enjoyed the most was the peaceful atmosphere, especially at night, it was very relaxing.

The room was very nice, clean and welcoming... I definitely recommend this establishment, it's an all star ????????????????????????from me.

Been coming here since 2019 but the new management is not meeting the standards i knew before. The bed sheets and towels were not clean. Tv was off till the next day . No more wifi .I am just really disappointed because i really loved this place.

The entire staff made my stay there splendid.
Betsy gave me a warm welcome from the moment I arrived. She was really patient and caring and helped me settle in nicely.
Prudence also took really good care of me. The room was sparkly clean and the whole place is well kept. There wasn't a request to big for them to follow.
Everyone was amazing, I just don't remember the rest of their names.
I would definitely recommend this place and will visit again.

We checked in last minute after another guesthouse had disappointed us. And we were very upset, you can imagine how high our expectations and emotions were when we call Pro active guesthouse. Oh wow such a lovely place!! The rooms are gorgeous!Comfy and they really go all out. When they heard we were bringing a toddler with us they made arrangements for her. We were checked in on regularly to check if there was anything we needed. The staff knows all about costumer care!
During this time of covid the last thing you want to worry about is getting sick and the cleanliness was everything. My partner and I even talked about how it looked like no one had ever checked into our room before us because of how spotless and fresh it was. Thank you for a lovely stay. We will be returning. We wish we never left. Lol we didn't even want to leave!

The host is beyond accommodating. Courteous, helpful and the property is quite boutique. Clean and ready upon arrival. Loved my stay there, will surely return.

Best Guesthouse in the world, Elliot was the most gracious host!, his employees were very friendly too I love how they interact with their clients ???? everything was spot on ????

I loved this place very relaxing place the rooms are up to date the care about the client and what you need. The breakfast was so delicious was on point. I love this place.
