Union Buildings Gardens

The union buildings are a staple visit for my family. The gardens are lovely and tranquil. A new addition is an educational protest would be great as a permanent feature. The garden are free to visit, wheelchair access is available on one side of the gardens only. Bring some cash for the trinket stalls!

That place is glorious, well planned plantation of trees, and with a nice and well taken care of Park. Full of overwhelming oxygen in that place I love it. The huge well built Union Buildings in decades back and salute to those engineers and people who put hands on to make that place astonishing like that. I like the stature of former President Nelson Mandela. I even got chance see an ancient people known as Koi San people live.

A scene which is rich with the fusion of nature and human structure can't be better than this. Gardens are intelligently curated and union building itself is marvel structure. Nelson statue is also major land mark here. A Panaromic view is so catchy that one can't resist a never ending appetite for camera clicks.

The buildings are one of the centres of political life in South Africa "The buildings" and "Arcadia" have become METONYMS for the South African government. It has become an iconic landmark of Pretoria and South Africa in general and is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the city and an emblem of democracy.

The buildings are the location of presidential inaugurations.

Beautiful gardens overlooking the city. Beautiful Parlement head quarters. Mandela statue. Amazing to see.

Well kept grass, flowers and trees in the garden. Beautiful place to visit and chill with picnic etc. The view from the top is also nice both day and night.

The most peaceful and breathtaking place in Pretoria...you can ask all the protesters once you reach that grass...the protest is over...they all calm down because of the environment there...all in all Our Union Building is small heaven ❤
