Quaint, peaceful and all round chilled Ocean Basket. I came in on a Wednesday and it was super quiet. Waiters were friendly and food arrived rather fast

I usually love Ocean Basket but it surprises me that a big restaurant like this cannot make a plan when there is loadshedding. They closed because loadshedding commenced

Hi. Yesterday the 30 August was my birthday. I decided to treat my family to supper at Ocean basket as we love seafood. My family and I have always enjoyed our experience dining out at OB except for yesterday. We had the worst experience.My waitress was Florence. She was rude and in a hurry from the get go. I told her it was my birthday and she didn't even respond.i was given a takeaway icecream after having to ask for it. The food was terrible.we ordered 2xplatters for 1 which was extremely salty and dry.i asked to speak to the manager who was of no help either. OB is not cheap to pay so much only to be disappointed. It was the worst experience for my family and I. Sadly to say I won't be visiting there again.

Absolutely horrible service from management and staff. Waited over 30 minutes just for starters in a place that was far from being full. Did not see my waiter after placing the starters order. Manager says he only checks on tables that has food. It seemed like they were more focused on pushing out online delivery orders.

Great service. Gloria Ngwenya gave us outstanding service even though we just wanted take aways we ended up having a drink while we waited for our food. She was delightful. Food is fresh and delicious

My husband was disappointed that they did not have Sole Fish. Apparently they don't sell it anymore. He goes to Ocean Basket just to eat the Sole.

My meal was delicious. I also ordered some sushi, however I had to eat it without soya sauce because they only stock the non halaal one containing alcohol.

Truly one of the best ocean baskets in the area. Each and every time our family eats here we feel the need to compliment the chef and just soak up the kindness of the staff. Being a little lazy we ordered take away and after collecting and arriving at home noticed there was fish missing in our platter for two but once again the amazingness of the service from the restaurant kicked when I contacted them and the manager Michael in full spirit promised to deliver to our home which arrived as fast as lightning … 10 stars to Michael the manager and all of those who we don’t recognize while they prepare our delightful meals and thumbs up to those who maintain the cleanliness of this restaurant . Keep doing what you doing because you have the right recipe !!!
