Reacted to the half-price burger special advertised on street. Burgers were decent but the potato wedges were undercooked. Also not quite sure why restaurants still decant cheap runny tomato sauce into branded containers. Most clients are not that easily fooled. You’d also expect a Taphouse to have a few more beers on tap. Had a fun evening, but there is probably better food in Parkhurst.

My friend had her phone stolen from inside this bar last night. When we took the issue up with the managers on staff we were largely ignored and told that the many cameras in the establishment weren’t working that night. When we called the next day to try and get an update from the owners we were told to be “more responsible next time” and then hung up on. As another reviewer said below, there are much safer bars in Parkhurst with much more helpful management. Definitely won’t be coming here again.

Two phones stolen from our group of 9 people last night. Approached the staff and manager about the issues and to review the security cameras, which were "conveniently" not working. There are much safer places within Parkhurst.

The barman were so welcoming
The music great and atmosphere. Domt like that beggars come in to make you feel uncomfortable I feel for them really do but they drunk when they ask for money. Only put off

AVOID GOING TO THIS PLACE!!!

Make sure to double check any purchase you make here- they try and rob you by putting incorrect higher amounts or double charge you. Rather go to one of the many other better places in parkhurst!

The Dive bar of Parkhurst.

Positives:
There's a jukebox which does well to create a fun vibe.
Service from waiters is of a high standard.

Negatives:
Does not feel like a clean environment. The restrooms are terrible and smell even worse.
On the night I was there it was very clear that IDs were not checked as it was full of underage teens.

I won't be going back.

Service is very friendly and the music and food is great. Lovely to sit outside and have a beer on sunny days. They also have a great selection of beer on tap. The vegetarian burger was a bit disappointing and bland.
