I was in the mood for a Spur brownie so visited the Clearwater branch on Sunday, 12 June 2022. I waited for 10 minutes without any sign of a server. I flagged a server down and ordered a half portion brownie and a cola tonic and lemonade. The brownie arrived cold with no chocolate sauce (refer to picture). So I asked for the manager. Pat (the manager) confirmed that this was not how they served brownies but attempted to pull the plate away when I said that I wanted to take a picture to report this to Spur's head office. He then sat down (without an invitation) in an attempt to pacify me. I requested the bill so that I could leave. He asked if there was anything he could do to make things better but I said no and again asked for the bill. He left and returned minutes later with a new brownie (made correctly this time which shows that they just didnt care enough about my initial order) which I declined and for the third time requested my bill. Five minutes later, another manager, whose name I didnt get (it was Beauty, I think) came to the table to pacify me. At this stage, after 15 minutes of being made to feel like I was a hostage, I stood up and shouted that I need my bill and would like to leave. At this stage, the manager said that they wouldnt be giving me a bill so I left. Forget the poor service and unappetizing food, never before have I felt harassed by management at a restaurant. I'm not a person who creates a scene but today I felt like I had no choice.
