Advice to Management

Train or Fire the two extremely rude and unpleasant female employees. They are hurting your business. I alone spend R8K+ a month at the Engine down the road even though the Total is closer to my home, just to avoid these employees. ( They Know Who They Are )

( Training may be insufficient as being kind and respectful to people should come naturally. Sometimes firing people is the best option for a businesses sustainability and profitability. )

Use the savings from firing the two extremely rude and unpleasant female employees to give the professional, respectful, and pleasant male employees a raise.

Add price stickers to all items in the store, to help customers accurately budget before they pay at the counter.

Adjust the prices of items in the store to non-whole numbers. A bar of KitKit costs R14.00. Adjusting the price to R13.90 would lead to more sales as humans encode prices before they finish reading numerals, so a R0.10 difference feels like a R1.00 difference.

I have just experienced two employees with no work ethic. Manager Jeanette and a lady cashier got into a very unprofessional argument with me the client. I did report this to Total head office's. Helo Peter and other platform's as i explained to the Manager Jeanette i would do and she encouraged me to. I hope i got my message across so that people like Manager Jeanette and her cashier don't get away with treating customer poorly.

Just the sloppiest of people I've ever come across, they forgot to close the cap of water intake nozzle after putting water into my car, and now we just had an engine failure and were on the side of the road

Went to buy a coffee as I do almost every day, a new lady behind the counter was playing drums on the lids after the coffee was already made (I assume it's the owner or manager as I've seen her before, just not making coffee), I asked her to give me a new lid as I am afraid of contracting COVID since I have high risk family. The lady said no, she'd be loosing money, and then offered to sanitize the lid for me. When I said I'd prefer not to drink from a sanitized lid, she just shouldn't touch the part where the customer drinks from, she continued to explain to me that she has no other way of putting the lid on, which isn't the concern that I had. I used to support this business daily, won't ever go back. Terrible, terrible customer service. The customer isn't right, and there are no concerns over the risks of COVID.

I go to this Total Garage often as I live 1km from here, and this is not the first time but definitely the last time. Your staff behind the counter is incredibly rude, the petrol attendants are lovely though. Won't support this place anymore until they fix the attitudes there.

I visited this garage 23:30 on a Sunday night. Now as most of you will know, this isn't the chirpiest time of the evening, especially on a Sunday night.

Lo and behold, here I received the best customer service I have ever experienced at a garage.

The employee who helped me was very happy an chirpy, and even washed my window.

It is better service than most other places during the day.

Now I go out of my way to put in petrol here.
