I cannot even comment about the service. So I booked this place more than 4 was ago for 2 night to celebrate my 50th birthday.The service I received was disappointing from the phoning for confirmation time of arrival, to getting or confirming the venue, I was told over the phone don't be impatient, then I finally got the place I was told I was too early when I got there around 13hrs. Ok because we needed to go to the shops I requested a fridge to pack my perishable . the staff were welcoming and friendly. NATALIE on the other had no respect for people,respect for business .When we came back frm the shops we went strait to the room where our perishables were at, and the room had 3 people unpacking their stuff. I was told another place 5 munites was arranged for me By NATALIE She further said hurry before the place is taken you will pay the same amount but I didn't I paid R400 more. I am not happy with that service .she is rude unprofessional unfriendly she doesn't deserve the business even though the place is nice .but entering the gate was a nightmare it's steep I rolled more than 5 times that was not an issue the treatment was extremely bad.i had to spend more than I budget for.
They shouldn't say pay at the property if that is going to affect confirmation of the booking. Natalie your hospitality sucks you dont treat people like that you messed up my lifetime celebration. Why was my room not ready when there was email conversation the whole time Booking. Com had my credit card details ,I received email confirmation on my booking. I will make sure my family, friends, colleagues and business partners don't come near the 50 Galena in Rooderpoort
