Lovely restaurant located in Cedar Square. We paid a visit during loadshedding though, so the entire menu was not available and understandably so. The food was lovely and prices were fair. This restaurant feels like a cafe that offers home made meals, something I found very pleasant. There are a multitude of cocktails on offer and some gourmet milkshakes too.

The service was great, and the food very delicious. I was shocked to receive my food within 5 minutes, literally it was soo quick. The food on the dish were so fresh and tasty,I especially loved the watermelon surprise(was not on the menu), it really complemented all the flavors.
I can't wait to tey more dishes ????

Superb service. Breakfast was amazing. Got a cupcake for my birthday, nice touch. Lemon meringue tartlets were very tasty but a bit small.

Exceptional salmon scramble breakfast, perfect eggs scrambled with cre'me fraic'he toasted rye, grilled cherry tomatoes, the stand out was the orange slices and the crispy kale done with a subtle spice, everything complimented one another, the best salmon breakfast I've had by far....

Had breakfast here today large variety of vegetarian and vegan options - really seem to be making an effort to fit in with the vibe of the centre, gym goers and health conscious people! Unfortunately the vegan food while looking great on arrival didn’t deliver on flavor or should I say OVER delivered with so many different flavors on one plate it was all quite confusing, just a case of trying a little too hard but I think after the 12th ingredient/spice the chef should have stopped! Not a favourite

My beloved Restaurant. I write fondly about Carmella’s because I had the most amazing culinary experience here. The food tastes as good as it looks.
The in-house rusks deserve their own review. Make sure you ask for some. They also have the gluten free version. Staff are always more than happy to ensure your prime satisfaction. I love it there. 6 Stars !!!
