Rising food prices means we are all seeking better value for our hard earned Rands. So it definitely is advantageous to visit stores that may be slightly further afield of your usual shopping grounds. Which is how I found myself perusing the aisles of this store. The store itself is clean, well stocked and staffed. Products are varied and the produce is fresh, with wider accommodations made for organic and locally sourced.
On a side note, the paper shopping bags are strong enough to carry heavy loads, as you can see from my haul. Centrally located with great value makes this store a great place to shop.

1. The store is always clean.
2. They always have different specials throughout the month that are great for those on a tight budget. But one must move quickly when they have the R10 special as the items sell out fast.
3. They sell refillable purified water at really low cost.
4. There's always a line at the checkout point but they're efficiency makes it move along quite quickly.
5. Their carry away bags are really great for those who commute by public transport and for those who recycle.

Great store. What is most amazing is how the butchery manager of the Fourways Store resolved a query regarding possible quality of a product sold, when itnwas queried.
This sets Food Lovers Market apart from their competition, over and above great offerings and specials.

Great pace to find specials or fruits and vegetables. But it could be just me, but I feel like some of the fruits and veggies that come with crazy specials aren't really like top notch if you wanna eat them as they are, but great for including in foods or smoothies.

Good shop for fruit and vegs . Meat not off good quality. Lamb pack crab. Very poor. Best cuts on top, rest not worth the price you pay. Would not recommend buying pre pack meat there. All pre pack is bulk cannot buy small quanity for 2 people.

The store is very clean and the service is also quick and friendly. But i was disappointed when i could not find a single brown bread in this store(out of stock) in the midday of monday, and the workers saw it as normal. This kind of approach can not be normal in Fourways.
