The service was good. The food was lovely and presently very nicely, more importantly it tasted very nice. I definitely would recommend the prawns it's delicious. The sauce is very hot so just a heads up for someone that doesn't eat very spicy food to stay away from the sauce.

Service was slow, food took forever to be prepared, and when it did finally come, everything was extremely overcooked.

My wife has been here for dinner before, and said the food was terrific, so definitely seems to be a staff issue, not a general quality issue

The location and ambiance are very nice.

Food was good and the vibe was very good we had a Christmas party there and the service was excellent taking in account that we were 100 plus there.
Having a 2M beer in SA was great the owner was there and making sure everyone was served

This is conveniently located in the Cedar Square centre and specialises in traditional Portuguese food. We found the prawns smaller than the standard Mozambique size and rissoles not quite up to par with granny's homemade.

I tried the prawn curry which was wonderful, and peri-butter prawns, which were tasty but unfortunately arrived cold. To be fair, I was at a table of around thirty people and we all received our food around the same time, which was nice.
The place had a pleasant atmosphere and some unimposing live music.
The Ru0026Rs and cocktails were lovely also.
I had a good time here and our large party was handled well with no errors that I know of.

Terrible service. Waitress was slow and had no clue what she was doing (like giving my mom a massive steak knife for her fish)
The quarter chickens that my brother and I had were totally cremated and made our stomachs churn before we even left the restaurant. Rest of the meal mediocre and very missable. Live music also way too loud to have a decent conversation. Have no idea how this restaurant got such a high rating. Haven't been to a worse restaurant in the Fourways area in years. Won't be back.
