A very nice and quiet place to have se quality time with friends or family. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend!

What a cute little place with extremely friendly (and funny) staff.

I loved that there were dogs and that it was peaceful!

The food was perfectly nice, it's exactly the type of homey experience one needs when escaping the hustle and bustle of the city.

Superlative service, delectable home baked treats with great coffee and a wonderful green setting and the sound of ruining river water. Hard to believe its only 5 minutes from the highway to Pretoria. Highly recommended

Alma is a gracious host. The delicious poached eggs on rye, mushroom and tomato breakfast never disappoints. Ask for the Pistachio cake with almond and creamcheese icing ????, or her pancakes and apple, or the carrot cake. Firm favourites enjoyed with her award winning coffee blend. The fire inside is cosy, or outside, enjoy views of the local river just below the confluence of Braamfontein Spruit / Sandspruit into the Klein Jukskei . (Alma also sponsors river cleanups ????)

This is actually a very confusing one.... rustic I get that part, but paying attention to no detail spider webs, dirty condiments thats something else! No consistency..

Lack of service... noticed when owner not there staff actually just don't bother if anything!!!

Grass..garden would appreciate some tlc needs to be manufactured....

General cleanliness lacking of tables chairs ... condiments lacking...

Actually didn't want to eat there for this was a concern in all honesty!

But gave this coffee ☕ shop 3 ???? for surprisingly the food was actually very pleasant, fresh and well plated.

I do think they over priced for what they offer and portions are small... The veggie lasagne...

Chicken curry was more butter chicken... it did lack taste was blan but I understand can't be too spicy for prepped before and needs to cater for everyone but then offer on the side extra spice .. chillies... sauces..ect

No ambiance - no atmosphere - no back ground music ....

Will I go back?

Yea, I actually would like to try their toasted samies, not much of a variety but would like to see the quality and standard of same!!

Was a let down, but so much potential indeed!!! Definitely a more hands on place and owner needs to be there or employ someone with passion heart and soul...

Will update review after another visit and share my experience again.

A delicious breakfast with a beautiful view and very welcoming staff. The pistachio cake is moist and to die for. The cappuccino is the best coffee I've had and that's saying something. Will definitely come back for the food and wonderful conversation with Alma. A hidden gem in Sunninghill ????????☕
