Worth while experience. Rooms are spacious and clean with a tub and shower. Staff are friendly. Room service and food are well worth it for the price. The decor and overall appearance of hotel is impeccable. There is a fully equipped gym for the fitness fanatics. One of the few hotels in Sandton that is worth the price for the room space.

I stayed at the DaVinci for 9 nights in a one bedroom apartment unit. As African luxury hotels go, this rates high. Their rooms are clean and up-to-date. Their service providers are responsive and fairly quick. The food from the hotel restaurant is delicious.

Such a treat spending my birthday at the DaVinci Hotel. Upon checking in I was greated with birthday singing. Not long after arriving in my room I was surprised with birthday macaroons sent to my room. The whole experience at DaVinci was exceptional. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the rooms were very modern and really spacious. Our room also had a balcony which was nice to relax on in the evenings. Highly recommend the DaVinci Hotel if you looking for a quick get away or if you have a business trip

I'm staying at the hotel right now.
The service is good except for the security of our belongings in the bedroom.
I went shopping yesterday and left some shopping bags with some of my belongings and the cleaner stole everything from my hotel room, I have called the receptionist many times and it's been over 6 hours they keep on saying that they will look for the bags
I feel like checking out tomorrow morning.

I stayed in one of the apartments and i have to say, the space and decor are somewhat refreshing and the marriage with tech just made it perfect.
The rooms, kitchen and living room are clean and cozy.
Kitchen is well equipped and they offer a lovely coffee Machine.
Toiletries such as body lotion and liquid soap are included ( a few extras as well ).
The breakfast has lots of options and was delicious ( had the english toas on the first day and another option the day after)
The staff is super friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel, poor housekeeping

Overall, it’s a great hotel. We had quite a few issues with housekeeping but it was a good hotel option overall.
Pros:
- Hotel location is perfect! Attached to Nelson Mandela Square and mall. Lots of great shopping and restaurants!
- Turn down service at night. They bring candies and bottled waters.
- Spacious room and bathroom. Room also had built in power converters.
- Concierge is great and attentive. So are the valet guys outside. They all gave great customer service.
- Gym is a decent size.
- The spa was really nice and the massage was great.
- Strong water pressure. And hot!
- Complimentary slippers.

Cons:
- Main issue the ENTIRE 4 days was housekeeping. We literally had to beg for face towels everyday! We called multiple times, asked the housekeepers in the hall for towels, and stoped by the front desk. And the couple times they actually did bring face towels, they only brought 2 each time and there were two of us in the room for 4 days. One day they told us they were out of face towels and to call later. There must be different managers and training for the housekeeping because the concierge and valet folks were wonderful.
- Booked a room with two double beds and was put in a room with a King bed. Not a big deal but not what I wanted.
- The bathroom sliding doors are glass and see through. There’s sheers in front of the doors but they’re paper thin. Wasn’t a huge issue but not the best predicament for privacy when sharing the room with a friend. The toilet door and shower doors were frosted and 100% could not see through those. So that was nice at least.

Pockets of excellence but I have had better 5 star. Asked for my 2 x 3/4 to be made into a king on evening 1 and this was still not done by checkout. 3 of 4 downlights blown so room was dark. With some maintenance can be food again
