If you want noise, congestion poor service, bad attitude staff visit Onyx. All that after paying entrance. No value for money at this bar. A place where the young rich hang out. Be careful using visa or your cards as I experienced a scheming attempt.

Had a friend's birthday party here and it was enjoyable, although as expected there isn't much entertainment unless you have a friend or someone to stay with

The bouncers are horrible , they told us right at the entrance that if we’re not buying a bottle, we’re not welcome.

The only reason i give it a 1 star is because for roughly 40 minutes the music was actually good, other than that it deserves no stars. We went for the clubs 1 year birthday. Firstly we got there at 11:40 and were not allowed entry because we were not VIP. Non-VIP entry is for after 12:00 STRICTLY. Warning: the bouncers are on a real power trip so dont push your luck. Secondly its R200 entrance fee which gives you a space to dance dead centre because in order to get a space where you can sit you need to be a VIP. A bottle will set you back a minimum of R1650 and even if you do buy a bottle u still wont be able to rest your feet anywhere, dead centre is where you will stay with your bottle. and whats worse about being dead centre of that dancefloor? its also the pathway for the VIP's to walk. be prepared to make space for people to walk past you every 10 seconds. You will spend more time doing that than actually dancing. If you are a small person beware, u will get pushed, trampled and elbowed in the face a few times. Let alone the club being ridiculously small and solely catering for VIP's you will find 1 small cubicle in the bathroom, just 1. Would never go here again. Ended up leaving and went to Cantare in Monte Casino.... MUCH BETTER.
