Overall, the suites are well equipped, spacious and nice to stay in. Staff was super friendly, but directions and assistance were quite poor.

We checked in as one shift was ending, and needless to say it was a 30min process to find the right place to park, to get someone to go down to open the gates. The check-in process and directions needs quite a bit of updating.

Raphael Suites os fantastically located in the heart of Sandton. Hovering over the Neslon Mandela square, a few steps away from endless shopping and delicious restaurants, location is unmatched. Rooms are spacious, thought maintenance issues are apparent. Some features are old and outdated, such as the TVs and showers. But still highly recommended based on location.

Very clean and friendly service. Wifi is really nice. BUT! Finding your way can be confusing between all the elevators to and from the suites. Swimming pool is a workout on its own to get to. The constant smell of bacon in the reception area is not nice at all. Personally, I expected more. Thanks.

Despicable. Not once was my apartment cleaned during my entire stay. Day one the shower had disgustingly black mould in the corners. I could not sleep at all due to allergies caused by dust from the carpets. I know it's a BnB set up but cleanliness is also paramount otherwise what is the point in having "housekeeping"?

Shabby and hugely disappointing. The rooms in this apartment hotel are in a poor state of repair and stuck in the 1990s in terms of decor. The bedroom has a 14 inch CRT television and the living room area has an SD DStv decoder. There's not even an iron or ironing board in the rooms despite there being a washing machine. Certainly not recommended for the business traveller and likely to disappoint leisure travelers with all but the metres squared of the room. Really regret booking here.
