Absolutely loved the restaurant.
At first I wasn't "sold" because I thought the menu was very normal.
Then I went in, and our waitress (I unfortunately don't know her name) was the sweetest.
She helped me choose the food and suggested I get the Lamb (I don't remember which one it was but it was the third) that I had with rice.
My food was ready in less than 15 minutes.

The only issue is that she took long to come back to us when we were done eating ???? I almost missed my train.

I had such a pleasant time at The Raj.
Staff were kind and efficient.
The food was really good.
The vibe was beautiful.

Very beautiful and quiet restaurant .Their food is very tasty bravo to the chef but the portions are small it's rare to carry left over food .Waiters are very attentive and welcome was great loved it will come back again

I love Indian food and this was a great choice. The Punjab Samoosas were a great starter. The Prawn Korma accompanied by the Veg Biryani and Garlic Naan was scrumptious. Our waiter Bongani was awesome

Raj is fine Indian restaurant in the Sandton City (Mandela Square).... They have a wide variety of menu items available in both veg n non veg.... The food quality is really good.. The non veg items are halal... The staff is really good n polite.... Do check them out

Nice and pleasant place. Servers were very polite. The menu was very limited but the taste of all items we ordered was very good. Though the portions were little bit less than what we expected. It had both indoor and outdoor seating at the time. There was no waiting also and we visited it on a weekend.

Worst decision to choose this restaurant. They don't know how to serve, waited long for basic dishes. Very limited menu, limited quantity. Everything was limited except the bill ????. New management is not maintaining it properly. Only nice part is the location.
