This hotel is gorgeous as you enter it and the lobby is honestly one of my favorite places so far in this hotel. It’s a good place to stay for one night and then you’re done but I stayed there for almost a week and unfortunately not the ideal place.

The rooms are really small - I have been traveling for 2 weeks before I finally came to Sandton so you can imagine the luggage which unfortunately didn’t have a space to put them. My room was cramped. I also love a hotel with at least a working space or coffee/tea facilities; especially coffee facilities and I had none of that. For me that’s huge.

The bathroom is also one of my favorite places because it’s really well designed.

I didn’t like the fact that if my room card was not in the room (or in that card holder) there was no electricity in the room because I needed to go out and leave my gadgets charging and unfortunately I couldn’t do that. Maybe they should give guests two cards for that purpose? Please?

Otherwise yeah a good hotel for just a one night and then you’re out but if you’re thinking of staying longer, perhaps find another hotel that might be more comfortable.

Unfortunately I didn’t do the booking or else I would have checked for these things before booking.

Location is superb and very necessary in Joburg.

Security and reception staff are generally friendly and helpful.

There appears to be a fundamental issue with the housekeeping staff. When we first arrived we were given keys to a room that had not yet been cleaned. When we were given an alternate room, I think it had been cleaned but there was a pair of old socks covered in sand behind the bathroom door. The final straw was when we asked at midday for our room to be cleaned, we arrived back at 9pm and nobody had been in despite assurances from the front desk. We were then given an alternative room which the batteries to the remotes for TV and air conditioning didn't work and because of TV set up, it had been left on and took us 20 minutes to turn it off manually. (There appears to be a wider issue with housekeeping, during our stay, we noted many rooms were propped open for days at a time and wine glasses etc were left in the corridors for days on end.)

The shower was also very volatile in both rooms, once you have gotten the right temperature every 60 seconds you get a blast of ice water for 3 seconds followed by 3 seconds of boiling water before it returns to correct temperature. The iron they provided was also somewhat dangerous. 1) it burned my clothing 2) had many exposed wires which I believe is dangerous (I am not an electrician but didn't look safe)

While comfortable and convinient, I do not think it's woth the money paid for the night. The photo's used to advertise the rooms most certainly does not give a clear indication of the size of these rooms, they are small!
There's no coffee making facilities in the room. There is a coffee machine in the reception area, but no-one knew where to finds cups or even disposable cups for me to have something warm on a cold night. The same happened at the breakfast area/restaurant the next morning.

It's funny that I forget taking pics but the place is awesome, not all out just enough to lay down and be all about your business. The room isn't all that spacious though but there's enough room in the bathroom / 2 to shower together. There's a safe too, never used it but for valuables one can utilize it and the lighting, gorgeous! Oh the hotel can be easily located no extra charges on the Uber rides haha.

NB:Personally I'd recommend for business trips not leisure

✓Air-conditioner ✓Shower
✓Hairdryer ✓Clean towels (more than 1, super awesome)
✓Toiletries (shampoo, soap u0026 conditioner)
✓Room service ✓Tv (No subscription)

Not bad. Rooms a bit small. No coffee in room.
Shower plastic floor and not a proper shower set up ( shower hose) otherwise not bad. Food good at restuarant. Fancy looking though.

Rooms are very nice, service is fair and the location is what makes it that much better. In the heart of Sandton City, a skip away to the mall and Gautrain station.

Great place for stay over or for business.

Rooms clean and tidy but no kettle or coffee station.. Breakfast very poor, for180zar extra. It says e glish breakfast, but reality check: two unhelpful non English speaking rude lazy guys "welcome" you, the buffet is not fully equipped as on the labels, like not even fruits or miffins, not how I want to start the day????.. Is it so hard to do the job right? I mean it's not a difficult skilled job!
