On a warm Thursday spring evening, I felt like having a lovely bunny chow for dinner. As I scrolled through Uber Eats, this restaurant caught my eye with their very appetising food pictures. I clicked on it and they were running a buy one get one free for 1/4 loaf lamb bunny chows.

I thought about it and came to the conclusion that I would have one for supper and one for lunch the next day.

When the food arrived, it was two of the smallest lamb bunny chows I’ve ever seen, added together they barely made a full quarter loaf. I was shocked at this blatant thievery but then I asked myself if this behaviour should surprise me, from a typical Phoenix breadou who moved to Joburg thinking he made it in life. Absolutely disgusting lack of ethics. I hope someone puts eyes on your bad restaurant and you go back to selling DVDs by the plaza.

This was by far one of the best bunnies I've had after a long search in Joburg.
The flavour of the curry and the gravy soaked bread was just perfection.
Have been back and the high standards remain, so have indeed found my bunny spot in Jozi ;-)

Pity that this place is tucked away and can easily be missed. Love the flavor and taste of their food.
The owner, he is very friendly.

brilliant chicken bunny. got a bit stuck in traffic going hom and had other things to do, so the bunnies were about 2 hours old when we finally started eating... but they make a very saucy curry for it, so the chicken was still sauced and every inch of the bread was covered in sauce. best bunny we've found in jhb so far. and the carrot salad was very nice too.

Amazing samp and mutton. Flavored right and pieces of mutton was soft. Definitely worth it! Keep it up team!

Good tasting curries.
Bunny chow is very good, the gravy was not bland. The bread walls of the bunny was not dry.

Pleasantly surprised as Jhb Indian Restaurant fail to get this right.

Furthermore, called in to order 1 minute before the shop closed. The owner was still prepared to serve. Therefore that is considered as great customer service and the primary reason for this review.
