This is a home away from home.. The manager Elisabeth is absolutely amazing, she makes you feel so welcomed and at home.. Such a wonderful, kind, generous and understanding woman and she makes the most delicious breakfasts! The place itself is very well kept, rooms are nice and clean and the premises are always tidy! I would definitely return, when i am in jhb again! Thank you Elisabeth for your excellent customer service!

Mein Freund, the lady that welcomed us is the best...I have forgotten her name because I called her mein freund(German meaning for my friend) she was the best, the rooms were cozy, the scenery, the pool and breakfast was sooo yummy. I am definately going back again....

The breakfast was amazing, nice place as well but with no aircon or heater to warm yourself up as it was a bit chili in the night.

It's was nice to be back. Felt like coming home lol. Experience still top class and the environment is still super helpful and friendly. Love staying there.

Absolutely stunning gem. Exquisite hospitality with beautiful attention to detail. The owners really go above and beyond. Guest house is super clean, lovely amenities and located conveniently close to everything. Peaceful u0026 tranquil. As a chef and coffee shop owner, I highly recommend them ????

For the last few months of me travelling to JHB this has been my venue of choice. You are always left feeling like you are at home with Elizabeth's warm and welcoming nature.

The venue in it self is beautiful and peaceful and the food has this home made feel and wholesome in portion size.

I have been to other Bu0026B's in the JHB region and I would not want to go anywhere else but the Dorr.

Thank you Elizabeth and team for always making me feel like family and not just another visitor. You guys are awesome.

Such a lovely spot. In the heart of the city It feels like a little country escape. The welcoming staff, the yummy breakfast and the little dog makes it feel like a home away from home. Thanks for the awesome stay!
