A simple and basic place for families. Unpretentious. It’s popular for its open space and scattered tables ideal for covid times. Plastic table and chairs and simple table cloths. I didn’t expect much for the food but it was fresh and simple flavors. Great for whole families with choices suitable for different generations. My 73 year old mother said the burger was the best she’d ever had.

There are a couple of swings and a large sand pit for younger children.

Took family to this new space, after it being recommended by Mila. Mila and her high school friends had a lunch catch up session at this space.

We got here around 12:00 and the art pep here is amazing. Feels very safe. We ha da table outside and they observe COViD-19 regulations to the tee. The kids are free and safe to run around and play. It has a few play ground equipment.

They also had an event.

It’s a space you can book

Absolutely a lovely setting! Right in the heart of Sandton, you feel like you're on a farm! Perfect for people who love nature and you can bring your dogs! Fantastic service from Ntando! Great food and iced coffee.

The food here is amazing, not only that but the family atmosphere with kids running around and rabbits in the garden really sweet. A perfect place for a family outing especially if you have small children

What a fantastic restaurant for breakfast and lunch. Very relaxed atmosphere and nice to sit outside in the shade. Lots of stuff for the kids to do including trees, swings, sand pit and lots more. It is also pet friendly.

What an awesome spot ! It was slightly difficult to find and navigate to with all of the boomed off areas but worth it. We brought our pup with and he enjoyed it. It’s a big open space with lovely outdoor seating. A great place to hang about and go for a walk in the nearby municipal park.

We had the Mexican wrap (excellent) and basil pasta (good but not great - bit on the sweet end). We will be back.

Beautiful sunset views, friendly staff and a lovely cheesecake special (although R80 is hardly a “special” price) - both coffees (a cappuccino and a latte) were distinctly average.
Massively disappointed that the adults hosting the kids party that was monopolizing the venue, were allowed to simply release the dozens of helium balloons into the atmosphere instead of cleaning them up and disposing of them responsibly - especially when the Field u0026 Study Centre is supposed to be ecologically responsible.
