Venue is gorgeous. Everything you need for the perfect family/friends/business or function attraction!
Love the atmosphere of the tasting room, they have created a sophisticated tasting experience and it is nice to have that variety with the wine tours.
I do however see a lot of room for improvement and must admit, the wine itself was not so impressive.

We dropped in here on recommendation and I am so glad we did! Its a Russian owned farm with some really amazing decor, a vintage car showroom, a wine tasting room, a Russian high tea option (book 24 hours in advance for this as well as the cordoned off tasting area upstairs if you’re a group of 5 or more. We tasted every wine possible and it was good fun! They have undergone some big changes in the last few years with renovations and some new blocks of vines. I think it will be interesting to see where they can take their wine making to!

Booked for Thursday since weekends are fully booked.
Service (by Dennis) was very Friendly and informative. Got a lot of background about the history of the farm and the tea ceremony was just something else. Took us about 90 minutes to enjoy some Russian tea and cuisine. Highly recommended!!

Beautiful establishment with so many things to enjoy. There's a deli with lawn menu options u0026 wine tasting experiences also a sit down option at the deli u0026 the Pivnuskha restaurant. Cannot wait to try the Russian Tea Experience however you have to book in advance for this. It works perfectly well to couple a booking at Wonderdal for the kids u0026 the tea experience as they are both 2 hours long.
The lawns u0026 hidden gardens are lush u0026 inviting. The wine estate also has a golf course, conference u0026 function venue options.

I had the pleasure of attending the University of the Western Cape Research Recognition awards at this venue. The venue was amazing. The decor was beautiful. Halaal food was ordered in for us and it was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. A wonderful venue to make this event even more memorable ????

My wife and I spent a wonderful evening at the monthly Jazz Club and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. From the minute that we arrived we were welcomed and shown our table as well as given a brief history and description of the facilities on the farm. Compliments must be extended to 2 outstanding staffers viz. manager and host Willem and table server Chantall...you made the evening special.

My husband and I had the privilege of celebrating our 24th wedding anniversary at the Hazendal Wine Farm Tea room for the Tea ceremony. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were treated as honoured guests. Nothing was too much for our lovely server. We received a thorough explanation of the Tea room u0026 the actual ceremony itself. The tea we chose was rich and delicious and don't even get me started on the food - it was plentiful u0026 delicious - the perfect balance between savoury u0026 sweet. Did I say plentiful? The offering was in abundance but we made sure we ate every morsel on the plate! Every mouthful was better than the next. It was so very well worth every cent and can I just add - VERY good value for money. I would highly recommend the Tea Ceremony at Hazendal Wine estate - for a special celebration or just because you can. You won't regret it.
