Serene atmosphere, great wine, friendly staff, Catherine was amazing. Fun filled all around for kids. Fantastic play area. Kids enjoyed themselves. Will definitely be back again.

We had a fantastic morning at Koelenhof, it appears that the wine maker really knows how to make really good wines. The snacks were really good too. Thank you to Matthew for making the experience a really enjoyable one.

Lovely place. A bit far out, coming from Somerset West/Strand, but from Capetown self not that far. Enjoyed the Ice-cream with the Wine. Very nice idea. Informative Wine tasting. Definitely a Yes, if You're not sure where to go!

A wonderful place to take and enjoy a glass of wine, awesome "roosterkoek" freshly baked. Recommended for families with small children. Eat while you can watch them play

Nice place just come out and chill, just off the N1.

Njoy the Koelenhof selection of wines with some scrumptious Rosterkoek bread with olives, cheese, cold meats etc.

Some eats and treats for the little ones and of course, the really cool play area for the kiddies.

My worst visit to Koelenhof, your waiter you gave us, didn't show any interest, we booked a table two weeks ago, our table was not ready like the others...we could not choose our own wine, and all had to taste the same wine, the soup did not had any biltong pieces like previous...this was my last visit to you, as my guests were also very disappointed.!

If I could give zero stars that would be more accurate. Made a reservation a week in advance because the website recommended that booking is essential. When we arrived there was nobody at the door to seat us. When we went to the front desk the lady was on her phone for approximately 10 minutes and completely ignored us. Several waiters/staff members walked past us and nobody provided any assistance. Even though I made a reservation a week in advance which had been confirmed, a table had not been reserved. The lady who was assisting us seemed very unorganized, seated us at a table that still had dirty glasses on it and after removing the dirty glasses she was nowhere to be found. After sitting at the table for another 10 minutes without even getting a menu we decided to leave. I have received better service at other wine farms when I have not made a reservation. This was my first visit to koelenhof and the service was so terrible. I am definitely not going back.
