We had such a fun morning at Meerlust. The lady doing the one in saying was hilarious, sure the one helped!! Arguable some of South Africa’s best wine, the tasting was great I’m generous portions!!

Brilliant visit to Meerlust. The wine is exceptional. The visit, very welcoming. Carol was brilliant, very knowledgeable and so friendly. She made us feel at home. Worth a visit.

Very special indeed- one of few generational farms left in the Western Cape.
The natural aesthetics are just too magnificent. The original homestead and surrounds have a feel of nostalgia ❤️

Such a personal experience, the true value and unique experience is in the wine and the person who introduces you to it. Rubicon is my favorite wine in the world . Thank you Carol for showing us why it is so special

You can't visit Stellenbosch or the wine regions of South Africa without paying a visit to Meerlust Estate. This is a magical place with world-renowned wines, that changed the route of South African wine making. The 17-century main house is a national monument and the whole farm simply stunning! The people are absolutely lovely and they will be happy to take you through the Estate's wines. Do call in advance to book a wine tasting with the team!

Iconic SA winery and a big draw for wine fans. Unlike others there is no food or cafe so its all about the wine. A rustic relaxed visit, knowledgeable and friendly people with a warm comfortable atmosphere

Anyone knowing Meerlust will love the authenticity of this visit.
