Had some mechanical issues with my motorcycle and couldn't have gone to a better place.

The owner, Simon, was friendly and very professional.

The mechanic that worked on my Honda CBR125 was Jerry. He made sure that everything was perfect, always went the extra mile when doing repairs and made sure to explain the repairs that he had done.

Highly recommend Scoot Cafe. Not only for their reasonable prices, but excellent service.

To say that these guys are unprofessional and they do not know what they're doing is a understatement.

I was quoted R450.00 for valve adjustment (by the owner), I received a call the next day saying that it would take at least a full day of work for them to do the valve adjustment.

My response was that they should then just put the bike back together since I was not prepared to pay for a full day of work just to adjust the valves.

I called in later that day asking if I can come pick up the bike, the owner was not there nor either of the mechanics. Since it was a long weekend I decided to then go pick up the bike and do the valve adjustment over the weekend (16:30). As I pulled up to the shop, the owner called me saying that my bike was in a accident.

They took the bike for a "test ride" even though they did not do any work on it, and then the mechanic who doesn't even have a license was involved in a accident in which my bike was written off.

The owner refused to replace the bike even though the frame got damaged and the forks are snapped in half. It took him over 3 months to get a quote to "fix" the bike, the quote didn't include everything that needed to be fixed... this, from a bike shop... I would've thought since they repair bikes for a living it wouldn't take +3 months to get a quote...

I waited till today to write this review because I wanted to first see how the owner handles the situation, and he just showed me what a incompetent and unprofessional entrepreneur he is.

Do yourself and others a favor and do not take your vehicle to them.

I get all my bikes worked on here and they always do a fantastic job. Would recommend to anyone, and also they are very well priced!
