Extremely disappointing service from the hospital . First was when my wife was giving birth. There was literally no staff members in the labour ward . I had to assist the amazing midwife who was trying her best . The lights were off, and equipment was scattered . We entered a dark and empty labour room where we had to look for lights as well as equipment for the midwife to make the delivery . Our doctor didn’t come at all , not even the replacement Doctor which was arranged . We had a meeting with hospital management and we were told that they would investigate and come back to us . Our daughter is 2 years old now and we are still awaiting feedback .

Recently we took our other daughter to the ER around 23h00. After opening our file , a sister came out telling us that there are no doctors on shift - YES , a hospital with NO doctors on shift . We were then referred to Glynwood where we were assisted .

With so much marketing drawing patients to your hospital , the management of the hospital leaves very little to be desired .

I would like to write an appreciation post for the staff at Netcare Lakeview Hospital
They have walked these past 111 days with us, they always treated us with the utmost respect.
They became like family members.
Everyone in die NNICU ward - thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Thank you to every dr that worked on our baby and still will.

Lakeview Hospital will forever have a special place in my heart.

If I could give this hospital a 100 star rating I would. Thanks to the wonderful Doctors and Nurces who took care of our baby who was 111 days from birth in the Neonatal ICU.

All the saff in the Neonatal always treated us with the utmost respect and kept us up-to-date on all developments.
They're professional and always have smiles on their faces.

I can't speak for anyone else but our experience at Lakeview hospital was above standard.

I would just like to take the opportunity to thank the staff of Lakeview hospital for the extraordinary service received.
The doctors, nurses, cleaning staff, catering staff and reception staff are all kind and caring individuals.
The level of service received in this hospital is highly commendable. Friendly nursing staff and cleaners and very helpful doctors.
The hospital was very clean and hygienic and I would definitely recommend it to my family and friends.
You’ve got the best selection of staff especially Crissy, Andy, Thuli, Nolitha, Tsidi, Angelah and Louisa, who are all very passionate and loving their line of duty.
I would also like to give a special thanks to Dr Lingham for his excellent work. Keep up the good service, our country needs people like you.

Had the most traumatising experience and the staff and doctor on duty made it worse! I was 7 weeks pregnant and experienced a lot of pain and bleeding i was brought in with an ambulance..the Paramedic had to full in my hospital papers cause the nurse did not know how to..they asked my husband to pay just to find out that they can’t assist my medical aid i was there for 3 hours before being transferred (we we’re only 2 people in the emergency room)in the time i was there the doctor asked me not to bleed on there bed sheets, he didn’t examine me but told me that my baby has died..i am full of bruises as the nurse did not know what she was doing, they couldn’t provide the transferring EMT with notes..If you’re pregnant or have an emergency please go to another hospital or a government hospital they would actually know how to help you and not just let you suffer..THIS IS NEGLIGENCE!!

I was admitted at Lakeview Hospital in Benoni on the 28th of July and discharged on the 30th of July 2022 for Myomectomy procedure done by my favourite Dr. J SHAVA accompanied by a very Intelligent beautiful young black lady who is Anesthesiologist Doctor????????( I forgot her Surname coz I was so anxious )

Everything went well I am home recovering. I won't forget the Angels that came to my bed an administered to me, with patience and care they gave me daily meds needed according to the doctor. These burses were just perfect ready to care and serve...????❤❤❤ I am thankful for this experience to know that we still have descent human beings who love and respect not only their job but the people they serve . You are the Best and Dr. Makgathe too????❤

They can't get a hold of their own doctors. They make promises they can't keep and they work on Africa time only. I was supposed to be discharged early morning but by afternoon they were still struggling to find out where the doctor is and when he will be able to discharge me.
