The website says they close at 6pm but they are now staying open later with the new owners. We had a roaring fire in the cosy interior, but there was outside seating and a new sports bar with a big screen TV. Our waiter, Dillon, was friendly, making sure we were warm and that we were happy. We shared 2 rustic pizzas between 3 of us. They were very tasty with generous helpings of toppings. Plus it was 20% off pizza on Friday. There are different specials through the week. Then we shared a large slice of fresh lemon meringue tart. Very tasty, the lemon filling was fluffy and light, the meringue was just nicely browned. Definitely will be going back to try different dishes.

We went here for a Friend's quiz night. Food-wise, this was a very frustrating experience. Understandably, they may have been busier than usual because of the quiz night, but I waited about an hour and a half for my food and once it arrived it wasn't worth a wait that long. The chips had obviously been sitting out, although the burger itself was better. By the time my food had arrived, everybody else at my table had already finished eating and their plates had been cleared.

What a disappointing experience. This after I recommended the venue to two of my friends. Ordered the quiche which was served underdone, raw dough. went back to the kitchen came back out and was still underdone.

The owner's were present and when the waiter reported my dissatisfaction to the owner, our table was given a dirty look. No apologies from the owners.

However must mention that the waiter did try to rectify the situation and was apologetic.

Another mention is that the extractor fan seems to be faulty as there is a lingering smell of burnt oil or food residue that permenates the area.

I will not be returning or recommending this establishment.

Blaise’s Bistro is an amazing venue ! Wonderful staff and management . If you’re looking for a place that has a chilled and relaxed environment , delicious food and an wonderful time , try them ! You won’t be disappointed. They are truly a hidden gem !

Service was slow. Plates cold. Bacon too crisp.,hard. Cheese grilled tough to cut. Not enough butter for toast. Salt pot totally damp. Still waiting for one cappuccino.

Extremely slow service. 1 waiter working, 1 kitchen staff member. Short staff and no owner in sight. Food was cold. Just overall first impression was shocking. Will never go back.

Very cool spot, casual little hide away, one of those hidden gems with good food, decent priced beverages and friendly people! Home vibe with a little bit of romance!
