The Butcher (Block and Blade) has good quality meat at good prices and the owner is very friendly and always willing to make what you need.

I am not sure of the name but there is also a Chinese food restaurant that sells good food with decent sized portions for a reasonable price. You get good value for money.

Aside from the Engen petrol station, I don't go there for any other stores but they do have a few other fast food places, pubs, a bicycle shop and a supermarket...

For the best grilled fish in Gauteng go to Fish 'n!!!! Staff are friendly, great portion sizes, budget friendly prices!!! There mashed sweet potato is really delicious!

If you're looking for new bike equipment or the latest in On Cloud running shoes then pop into Bicycle line. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful- highly recommend them

We frequent Orexi's the Greek restaurant in the centre. Love dining here because their food and service is simply amazing. The manager really goes out of his way to make one feel welcome and nothing is ever too much trouble.
I often order take aways from them and I prefer to have the food "deconstructed", so that the Pita bread doesn't get soggy on the way home. Other places flatly refuse to do this, as it is apparently "too much trouble" but they are more than happy to provide one with what one requests. They are only 5 minutes drive away from my home in Boksburg and it's always worth the little bit of effort to drive here and receive great service and food.
In fact, we are long overdue for a visit here!!
