The new shop is a real let down when it comes to Chinese food, I ordered a beef chow mein, the price was above average so I thought it should be good but this was as far from authentic as 1 could get, so much pasta (not noodles) and very little of the tasty stuff. Then 1 asks for a bit of extra soy sauce as this comes part and parcel of the meal, this comes at an extra price..... Wow what a shocker... Fong Kong Chinese shop ☣️????

Friendly service and food was of good quality. They have variety in their menu and majority of the meals are very affordable. So would recommend for anyone looking to mix up their palette every now and then with some Chinese cuisine.

If there is one observation to note is that there are differences in prices in the Mr Delivery app vs going to the actual restaurant. All the menu items are a bit more expensive in the app than in the restaurant, such that the meal I intended to order via the app would have cost R22,00 more and this is excluding the delivery fee. So this was quite strange.

A brilliant Chinese take away for sure.

You get greeted by the friendly owner Mike and his wife Adel with such amazing smiles.

The food is absolutely delicious and the portions are really great. They have got chicken spring rolls that seems like they were made in heaven.

They also sell frozen seafood of such high quality that there is actually some top restaurant chains that actually use their products and the best thing is, its available to all. The prawns and crabs are so well priced and are huge. A king size prawn in most restaurants is a queen by him, the kings are super huge. Then there is the calamari tubes which is so big, it actually seems impossible but once cut up into rings, it is by far the best tasting calamari around.

Their food is really great and the takeaway option is super easy and quick.

Definately would recommend this establishment to anyone who enjoys a great Chinese meal at a great price.

Very disappointing. Arrived placed our order and paid. We're told that it would take about 30 min... An hour and 15 minutes later we recieved our food they only started with our order an hour after we ordered it.We were told there was a big order but two other walk ins who ordered there recieved there food before us. The food was very bland and tasteless . the sushi was horrible. The salmon clearly not fresh and frozen and defrosted more than once.... As it was grainy and milky. Sushi was sized so large you can't fit it in your mouth and the rice just fell apart not rolled properly and rice incorrectly cooked . Not up to standard to other Chinese restaurants in the boksburg area.

Food was delicious and freshly prepared, vegetables were of an abundance ????and the rice, oh wow, proper sticky rice. Spring roll is huge and was just right, Sushi was devine????, I should have ordered more????

We tried this location twice recently. While the staff were super nice, the food wasn't nearly on the same level as some other local Chinese places. Nicely maintained location though!

We were looking for a Chinese take away that was sort of ok. What we found was a excellent place in Golden Bowl. Food tastes excellent. People serving you so friendly even spoke afr to us. You see in kitchen and it looked very clean. Their food is priced very good. Found our new Chinese take away. ????????
