Great host by Wendy, off street parking not the best, however our car wasn't tampered with. With regards to the room, pretty basic especially when we had emphasised that we are a couple celebrating a birthday, we were subjected to two single beds....all good hope to get better service next time..BTW you have lovely memorabilia collection

The hosts are warmly welcoming. It is a home away from home,Wendy and Peter as well as their workers are all set to assist with whatever you may need. I will definitely go back there again when visiting Cape Town and will recommend it to all my friends.

Wonderful place to stay. Cosy, comfortable rooms with locking safe, television and decent sized bed. The location is also very good, only a short walk away from the Stadium and Vu0026A Waterfront but on a quiet street. Breakfast is provided on request and the kitchen is available for guests to use. All staff are friendly and helpful.

Fantastic hotel. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of. The prices are reasonable, the breakfast is fantastic, the rooms are comfortable and clean. You can use the kitchen to cook your own food and they offer 24 hour coffee and tea, as well as mini-fridges in the rooms. Wish the rooms (or at least my room) had a safe. The area around the hotel is safe with plenty of food options and stores nearby.

Peter (owner) greeted us at reception and was extremely helpful and accommodating. He helped us to book two day trips, recommended places to see and sorted us out with cabs when ever we needed them. Breakfast is an optional add on and is well worth it if you have a days excursions ahead. The eggs were always done to perfection.
It's is only a short walk to the waterfront where there is lots of bars and restaurants and a taxi to Long Street (city centre) only cost about 30 rand (€2-3).

Peter and staff need to provide face clothes/makeup towels/guest towels.... and kindly inform guests that the advertised double room actually mean x2 single beds put together into a double.NOT a double/queen bed! #false advertising. Alternate room was right opposite the Reception area sadly.
Atleast also provide the rooms with menus or ordering menus that guests can use for the area. Only option was to google Debonairs or pay for their R80pp breakfast. Sadly...
Overall, the lodge is tidy and nice entrance. Welcoming and friendly.
Parking is off street ONLY. Safe area though....seemingly. or rather fortunately. Thank God.
