What a sumptuous meal we had for Valentines. The steak was soft and juicy with lovely crispy chips and lovely calamari it was a treat.

The desert was delicious. Service was good under the circumstances as it was packed to the rafters.

Ample parking lots of seating available inside and outside.

It is also wheelchair friendly so no problems getting inside the restaurant.

Will definitely be back for the Monday burger specials starting from R59.

Cattle Baron De Waterkant gets 5 stars from me! Cattle Baron always delivered a great experience. The restaurant is beautiful and cosy with a warm atmosphere. Our steak was made to perfection and delicious. The entire team at Cattle Baron De Waterkant was extraordinarily polite and helpful, service on another level. Eve, the brilliant waitresses that served us is a real asset to the business. If you are ever in Cape Town and enjoy great food, brilliant service, and an awesome atmosphere, visit Cattle Baron De Waterkant. You will not be disappointed. Well done guys!

Great service, amazing food! The meal was prepared to perfection, I really enjoyed the meat board it’s a great combination of meat with tasty sauce. I recommend coming here for any occasion really, the prices are reasonable and great quality food and lovely setup. A big thanks to Happy one of the waitresses who helped with getting a table and taking us lovely pictures afterwards!

Pefect intermittent spot, stuff are professional and know their menu. Great tasty steak cooked to perfection.Had the flamed steak special for R250.The side spinach and butternut for one can actually be shared between two and still be full. Yumm

Birthday dinner with 12 guests. Exceptionally high quality of steak. Very good selection of other meat options all at very affordable prices. Service was ok. There is definitely some room for improvement in the service department. The owners should spend more time in staff training. But the steaks are really the star of the show.

The food was delicious, cooked to perfection and served at the perfect temperature. The staff was friendly and service fast and efficient. I ordered a steak with salad and the meal was delicious!

I’ll definitely go back. This is a great restaurant for a night out with a group of friends, a date or dinner with parents :)
