A table at sunset was the perfect choice, especially as you watch the city come alive. Staff are attentive, friendly u0026 work well collaboratively to deliver your culinary experience. The tasting menu (available in vegetarian too) is very well priced for the experience u0026 the pace of the dishes was perfect. Each plate, a taste adventure that delights the senses. I also appreciated the personalized touch. Sitting alongside a private function created a noisy environment which took away from the private, romantic notion. The restrooms uphold the chic design however not having toilet rolls indicate that some of the restaurant service attention to be shared. Even though it's autumn, the green pool needs to come to the party too.

This restaurant is ALL about the view, which was the best during our time in Cape Town. Added to this the food was generous and exceptional. would particularly recommend the steaks which were perfectly cooked and delicious. Peter was friendly and helpful and in overall the whole staff were too. Cocktails and wines were also high quality and tasty. Not the cheapest restaurant but definitely worth a visit.

Wonderful views and beautiful food. Well worth the visit. Unfortunately, our waiter was rather unattentive. We had to wave him down repeatedly to order drinks and the ice requested 3 times never arrived. One of the managers noticed our struggle and stepped in to assist. Well done on that.
If the service had been on par with the food and view, this would have been 5 stars.

We had a lunchtime booking and the venue was fairly quiet. Food presentation was outstanding, dessert was so good we forgot to take a picture! Service was attentive at first, but got slower towards the end which often happens in a quiet restaurant. But overall excellent value and spectacular views, despite the cloudy weather.

Our visit to Utopia was amazing right from the start. Our waiter Bongani was attentive, made sure we were comfortable in the scorching heat wave and the food was just scrumptious. I am not a lover of seafood and would never order prawns off a menu, however the spicy prawns that came as part of the tasting menu was so delicious, that I would order that dish again and again. All round great experience and I will definitely be back again soon.

Had a lovely, relaxed evening here. Views of the City are incredible. Food was good and great value if you have the tasting menu. Look out for it as it wasn't directly offered and only a small card on the table. Service was a little slack but ambiance was good and it was a great place to spend a hot Cape Town evening.

Utopia was a stunning experience. The staff was exceptional in delivering service. The food was amazing. The Line Fish ???????? was flaky and tender. The vegetables not too soft not too hard. OMG the view from the pool terrace and all around of Cape Town after dark WOW. All round it was an absolutely fabulous experience. My niece's birthday was most memorable. Thank you Utopia and staff
