Good quality food, good service and great location. Bit dissapointed in our starter. Very simple and a little tasteless, expected a little more. Other than that always a good experience.

Pretty decent service. We arrived on a Saturday morning, when they were not too busy and opted to go outside on the terrace. We were neglected for a while, as I had to ask the host to give us a bit of attention because we were HUNGRY.

He reacted immediately though, so all was well in the world.

He recommended the breakfast special: 2 rashers of bacon, 2 slices of sourdough bread, scrambled eggs u0026 free coffee. He had me at "free coffee".

Coffee arrived promptly and it was VERY GOOD. Well brewed great tasting and hot. Food followed soon after, so we could actually enjoy our coffee with our breakfast, which is what we like to do.

The bread was amazing and warm and the butter just melted into it.
I loved my eggs, which was soft and fluffy, not at all. Husband prefers his a bit drier. But he didn't mind too much.
Bacon was good; I would prefer it to be a bit more crispy, but we continued eating (we were hungry).

All in all, a very good breakfast. Although service started off shaky, it ended on a high note!

After a hectic academic 2nd term, my colleagues and I let our hair down and spent a relaxing afternoon kick starting our winter school holidays.

We had beautiful warm pizza with a thin crust and wonderful flavours. Amazing how good a simple anchovy and olive combination can be...
A good bottle of red kept the cold at bay and we just couldn't help but have fun

Thinking a birthday breakfast for my mom at Col'Cacchio was a good idea, was a huge mistake.

First we has to send our food back to the kitchen as it was the wrong order. Unfortunately, when we finally received the correct breakfast the eggs were undercooked .. The coffee was cold and the freezo was completely tasteless.

Perhaps a refresher course for the kitchen staff will be a good idea..

I will definitely not be returning.
