Four stars to my and my wife's favourite waiter Thabisa...

Having our favourite dish today, the famous fish and ships. But it was a disappointment, the fish wasn't fresh it had scales on it and over done. However the hot chips was good.

Also please work on presentation.
See you soon, Hooked!

Decent and clean resturant, my waiter was really friendly and very on the ball.

I am just not happy with the portions served on their combo’s which they can seriously do better at.

Fresh fish, catering from less than the price of a burger and chips, to an array of options, with either chips, veggies, rice or stir fry. Inside seating as well as overlooking the food court and big screen TV for avid sports fans. Service good and cleanliness well noted. Similar to Ocean Basket offering, with additional client options, especially for the kiddies.

First impression walking in you could be excused for thinking you are visiting an Ocean Basket. Even some of the menu items seem to be exactly the same. The service is not as great as it could be with people seeming to hide away when you are looking for them. Food was good, but nothing amazing. This was my first visit and friends that have been before, said that normally it is better. I would potentially give it another visit at some point in the future just to give it the benefit of the doubt.

Really good experience. Fresh food with friendly and efficient staff. Didn't have to wait long for our food and even the snack bread provided was fresh. Our waiter Mike took good care of us. One of the best food experiences I have had in quite a while. Thanks guys.

Food was fresh and amazing at competitive prices, ambience can use a little work, service was good except for an incident that happened that almost made us leave. Upon arrival we were seated at a dirty table. After a couple of minutes, a paper cloth was thrown on the table over our belongings and soon after the bread arrived. Eventually we had to clean and neaten the table ourselves due to the lack of service for at least 8 minutes. After confronting the waiter, she got very stubborn about her poor sevice and gave no apology. Once we requested a new waiter, the service level went up and everything was professional from there on.

Similar to ocean basket in terms of what they sell, however, a lot different in taste. Maybe it was just a bad day for the chef but our platter required a lot of salt u0026 pepper and lemon for taste. But overall not bad. My friends and I had the platter for four which was sufficient for the five of us. Chips served in a different pan. I tried oysters at hooked for the first time as it was inexpensive.
