Despite it being loadshedding, having a busy and full restaurant and operating off the main road. My first visit to Mischu Coffee was very pleasant. I was wonderfully surprised by the value for money, on their latest special, the Salmon Eggs Benedict.

This is one of my favorite breakfast treats, and they did no disappoint. Do not be fooled by seeing this arrive on a single slice of warm bread, it is LAYERED with great fresh ingredients, no skimping on any item at all. For R50 you're more then getting your money's worth.

I'm looking forward to heading back soon, but as a first visit, well done team. Delicious. Thanks for the yummies, Cee

Pretty sure the best coffee I've ever had. What's even more fantastic is the consistency. The food is always excellent, so are the cappuccinos. A must visit!

The coffee here truly deserves its award. I started with a double shot macchiato, and the taste was exquisite. Little to zero acidity, with a sweet burnt aftertaste. No sugar added. Reminded me of the smoky taste of French roast, though not quite there yet.
I ordered an americano next with hazelnut syrup. Perfect. If you’re ever around sea point in the Atlantic board, this is one coffee shop you must visit for the love of coffee. The baristas here do it for the love of the brew. It’s more than a job, it’s a calling.

This is supposed to be sea points high quality coffee joint. Serving their own blend of Isabelle of I don't know what as the barista didn't know either. Set up and lay out is nice enough and clientele regular locals. They even do macha tea but the Rosamond they got could be better quality.

For me at least that's where the interest ended. I perhaps should have been more judgemental about what's on the shelf (or what's not - e.g. any decent filter offering), no filter on the menu and I seriously can't be the only 1 who shudders when the response to "flat white, pls" is "what size"?? ????

The cardinal sin was then committed by serving it up in a full 8oz cup with bitter low quality coffee.....????????
They do have loyalty card but am *not* impressed and suffice to say won't be taking advantage of it!!!

It is a laid back cafe good for lounging but internet is capped at 600mb. Good enough I guess but how much can it be to just let customers surf unhinged?? Maybe a lot .....anyhoo ...off to find cape town's better coffee places or I could just make my own (always have a plan b!! ;-) )

The Flat White is excellent. Velvety and smooth. A great little coffee shop in a city in which there is no shortage of coffee shops from which to choose. I’m very happy to have discovered and chosen Mischu!

Mischu, the first coffee shop I found when I returned to Cape Town 8 years ago and still the best coffee in Town. I liked it so much, that when I opened my store, Landed5 in collaboration with Laughtons Hardware, I naturally wanted to be “caffeinated” by Mischu ????

I am a very regular customer and this morning I didn’t have my mask. I stepped inside the shop
but was Still Close to the open door as I was aware I didn’t have a mask and your very bad mannered and aggressive waiter told me to go outside. Not please wait outside and we will take your order there. I run a little boutique hotel and know how important it is to be polite and well mannered.
I won’t be going back into your establishment.
