What a place to enjoy techno, house and dance music. Nice vibes, all people inside were so kind. So much security inside and outside so everyone can enjoy this experience safely. Recommended 100%

Only 4 stars because, drinks were expensive and almost without alcohol.

If you’re looking to let loose in a safe u0026 carefree environment, I highly recommend this place. Lots of helpful staff that even walk you to u0026 from your vehicle. I even misplaced my phone thinking it had been stolen - to my disbelief I was quickly contacted and the owners immediately set up a time to collect my phone. I’m very impressed by this u0026 recommend this spot for a fun night with friends

Overall, it’s a decent time. The music and vibe was alright, but the security were rather foul especially as they constantly think you’re breaking their no photos or videos rule. This rule is also a major downfall imo. Big ups to their bar staff and Costa who works at the door though.

Not what it used to be. They took away the freedom of smoking inside, they don't allow you to drink outside and some of the staff are indeed quite rude. Definitely on a power trip. One time I ordered 1 water to sober up before driving, so the guy forced me to buy 2... And so i declined.

What if I was someone irresponsible? Your greed could have costed the life of an intoxicated person.

I was a regular, always bringing plenty of friends...20-30+ We won't be coming to this place anymore.

Never again. Except if the owner of this place makes a promise to improve on the flaws...including his bad character.

My friend thought she had lost her phone on a night out here. A few days later her mom received a call from Costa who had miraculously ‘found’ the phone, he said that my friend just needs to let him know when she would like to collect it. My boyfriend and I went with my friend to collect the phone (without making an appointment), we arrived in the evening before the club opened and she told the bouncer she was here to fetch the phone, he then told us we had to wait outside - she had to go in alone. We stood outside for about 5 mins until she stormed outside and said “get in the car, we’re going”. She told us that once inside the bouncer got the phone out of storage and said she had to talk to Costa before taking it (weird). On this call with Costa he said she should be very grateful he ‘found’ her phone and now all she had to do was pay him R10 000 through Facebook (?). So she took the phone and ran. The bouncer ran after us to the car and even stood in front of it while we were trying to leave. Really scary and very disappointing. Modular is great for a party but keep your phone close and avoid Costa, no doubt he’s running some kind of phone stealing/ extortion business.

Modular made me pay an entrance fee and did not even let me in. It was two hours before their stated closing time. This is not even remotely acceptable. Why even make me pay in the first place? How is this okay?
